Usher Talks About His Mom

Usher explains why his mom never came to his wedding:

''My mother made a decision not to come to my wedding because she didn't really agree with my decision. I don't know why. She's never told me and I've never asked her. It hurt me very much not to see her there 'cause I would've liked for her to be there, not to mention that I paid so much money for her to be accommodated and her behind didn't show up. But just as she's made stands, so have I.''

Nick Hogan Calls His Dad From Prison

Listen here:
I don't if you watch the show but his Dad ALWAYS used to tell him to drive more carefull, now look. WOW!!

Info Below:

On Friday, Nick Hogan (born Nick Bollea) was sentenced by a Florida judge for the role he played in an August car crash that left his friend John Graziano, the passenger in the car, critically injured. Bollea, the 17-year-old son of former wrestler Hulk Hogan, pleaded no contest to the charges of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury and was ordered to serve eight months in jail, a probationary period of five years and 500 hours of community service. He must also surrender his driving privileges for three years and complete a DUI school within one year of his release from prison.

In November, Bollea was charged for the August 26 crash in Clearwater, Florida, which left Graziano, a former U.S. Marine, permanently brain-damaged after sustaining a broken skull. According to police, Bollea was driving his Toyota Supra at a high speed in a race against a Dodge Viper when he lost control of the vehicle and slammed into a raised median. The car reportedly flipped over, and the rear of the vehicle collided with a palm tree.

Former N Sync and Backstreet Boys Manager Gets 25 Years For Fraud!!!

Damn Damn AND Damn!!!!!!!!
Info Below:

Boy band mogul Lou Pearlman, who created the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for a $300m (£153m) fraud.
Pearlman swindled family, friends, investors and banks by enticing them to put money into two fake companies for 20 years.

He pleaded guilty in March.
As part of a plea agreement, he pledged to help prosecute his accomplices.
Judge G Kendall Sharp said he would reduce the term by one month for every $1m (£0.5m) he gave back to victims.

Prosecutors counted at least 250 individual victims who lost a total of $200m (£102m), plus 10 financial institutions that lost $100m (£51m).
The judge held up letters in the Florida court from people who Pearlman defrauded.
They included "his family, his close friends and people in their 70s and 80s who have lost their life savings", the judge said.
"So the sympathy factor doesn't run high with the court," he added.

Pearlman was behind boy bands including the Backstreet Boys
Pearlman had admitted persuading people to invest millions of dollars in two companies that existed "only on paper".
In a statement, Pearlman said: "Over the past nine months since my arrest, I've come to realise the harm that's been done. I'm truly sorry and I apologise for what's happened."
Pearlman unsuccessfully tried to delay sentencing while he launched his current boy band US5 - already successful in parts of Europe - in the US and Asia.
He said money made by the band could be used to repay people he had swindled.
Pearlman has also agreed to forfeit four cars, including a 2004 Rolls Royce Phantom.

Scorsese pulls out of Marley film

Info Below:

Oscar-winning film-maker Jonathan Demme has taken over from Martin Scorsese as director of an authorised documentary about Jamaican reggae icon Bob Marley.
The untitled film is set to be released on 6 February 2010 to mark the 65th anniversary of the musician's birth.
Demme, who won an Academy Award in 1992 for The Silence of the Lambs, said he was "thrilled and humbled" to work with the Marley family on the project.
A statement said Scorsese pulled out because of "scheduling conflicts".
Bob Marley's son Ziggy, who will act as executive producer, said he was "excited" by Demme's participation.
"His empathy with my father's body of work and his unique understanding of the musical documentary form makes me confident that this film will be the ultimate celebration of my father's life," he said.
'Worthy vessel'
Demme, who has previously made documentaries with Neil Young and Talking Heads, said Marley was "one of the greatest human beings of modern times".
He said he hoped the film, produced by Tuff Gong Pictures and Shangri-La Entertainment, would be a "worthy vessel" for Marley's "spiritual and musical brilliance".
Famous for such reggae classics as No Woman, No Cry and I Shot the Sheriff, the Rastafarian performer died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36.
Scorsese had been due to follow his Rolling Stones concert film Shine a Light with the Marley documentary.
He is also working on films about Beatles guitarist George Harrison and former US President Theodore Roosevelt.

R Kelly Trial Finally Begins

Jurors in US R&B star R Kelly's child pornography trial have watched the sex video at the centre of the case.
On the opening day of the trial in Chicago, prosecutors played the video of a man having sex with a young woman.
Prosecution lawyers allege the "vile" video is of Mr Kelly and a girl who was as young as 13 when it was filmed.
Mr Kelly denies filming himself having sex with an underage girl and his lawyer said the video showed neither him nor the alleged victim.
The star, whose hits include She's Got That Vibe and I Believe I Can Fly, faces up to 15 years in jail if convicted.

Vile, disturbing and disgusting sex acts, actions that were choreographed, produced and starred in by Robert Kelly
Prosecutor Shauna Boliker
The girl who is alleged to be in the 27-minute tape is now 23 and says it was not her in the footage.
In Tuesday's opening arguments, prosecutor Shauna Boliker told the jury they would "see the sex acts he commands her to do".
"Acts you have never seen before.
"Vile, disturbing and disgusting sex acts, actions that were choreographed, produced and starred in by Robert Kelly."
Ms Boliker said she would not be calling the alleged victim to the stand but did not explain why.
Defence lawyer Sam Adam Jr said the video, made between 1998 and 2000, was "at best, a copy of a copy of a copy".

He said Mr Kelly had a significant mole on his lower back and that the man on the tape did not have the mole.
Mr Adam said neither the FBI nor "a single witness" could identify the man in the tape as Mr Kelly.
Mr Kelly sat grim-faced through the hearing, the Associated Press news agency reported.
The tape was originally posted to the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper in 2002. The paper then handed it to police.
Mr Kelly was charged four months later with 21 counts relating to child pornography and released on $750,000 (£383,000) bail.
Seven of the charges have since been dropped.
The trial has been repeatedly delayed since then.
The jurors in the Chicago court case were selected from an initial pool of 150.
They include a man who spent five days in jail for marijuana possession and the wife of a Baptist preacher.
On Friday, Judge Vincent Gaughan refused a media request for access to transcripts of any parts of the hearing held behind closed doors.
He also refused to lift a gagging order forbidding lawyers from talking about the case.
The judge said he was not trying to inhibit the press but wanted to guarantee a fair trial.

Tyrese To Play B.A. In A-Team Movie

John Singleton has apparently decided that Tyrese Gibson will play BA Baracus in his forthcoming feature film update of the popular television series "The A Team." But contracts have yet to be signed and the deal is not yet finalized.
According to the Web site CHUD (Cinematic Happenings Under Development), the actor-singer confirmed that he has been offered the role made famous by Mr. T. But the script is still being worked on and taking the role would depend on scheduling.

As for the character's look, Black Ty said he wouldn't rule out sporting Mr. T's trademark mohawk, but he's hoping to bring BA into the 21st century, so don't expect a ton of bling around his neck.

The entertainer also plans to hit the weights hard in preparation for the role, stating the original character's imposing stature is a lot to live up to.”

Flying Car in 2009?? HHmmm!!

Info Below:

Flying cars, also known as 'roadable aircraft' and Personal Air Vehicles (PAV), are vehicles capable of both being driven on standard roads and being flown through the air. In concept, they are regarded as Integrated Flying Cars if the transition from road to flight and back requires no change to the vehicle’s parts, and Modular Flying Cars if the parts required for flight are stored (at an airport, for example) and added on as necessary.

Typically, a flying car is a small airplane converted into a road-capable car. At the moment, there are no flying cars available commercially and none under production for commercial sales. The huge majority of flying cars exist as either prototypes or concepts in development.

New Berry Already!!!

F.Y.I. This image is not real!!
Info Below:

Since we were the first ones to break the news about a touchscreen BlackBerry device, it’s only fitting that we follow up and give y’all the real lowdown on it! This is going to excite a lot of people, but anger many. Are you ready? The BlackBerry Thunder, as it is codenamed now, (all you "reporting" on it as the Storm are incorrect) will launch in Q3 of this year. It is a full touchscreen BlackBerry — no slide out keyboard — with only 4 physical keys. Those are the send / end phone keys, the BlackBerry menu key, and the back key. Here is the most interesting part, though: it will launch as a worldwide lifetime exclusive on Verizon and Vodafone! We’ve heard the unit will be a hybrid device with CDMA EV-DO Rev. C (for clarification, Rev C., known as UMB is practically dead. If the device will indeed launch with a 4G solution, our bet is on LTE), and GSM HSPA for traveling internationally. Verizon and Vodafone will have the same unit. Currently, the model number is the BlackBerry 9500, though it’s very early and that’s likely to change. This is HUGE for the Verizon lovers. For once they’ll get an exclusive device, but Verizon will have a sales quota for the device and if they don’t meet those numbers, we’ve heard the exclusivity will then dissolve and it’s over. This will be extremely interesting to see play out.

Remy Ma Gets 8 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!! DAMN!!!!!

Info Below:

NEW YORK - Remy Ma’s wedding plans are up in the air. But a judge has made definite plans for the Grammy-nominated rapper: eight years in prison for shooting a woman outside a Manhattan nightclub.

The state Supreme Court sentence was handed Tuesday to the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith, for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion.

The defendant, who could have faced up to 25 years in prison, was teary-eyed as she heard the sentence. She says the shooting last summer was an accident; an appeal is planned.

After the sentencing, a man identified by court officers as Remy Ma’s fiance, fellow rapper Papoose, began screaming in a hallway outside the courtroom. “All you want is money!” he said, apparently referring to the victim.

“Lock me up! Lock me up!” he then shouted to court officers, who instead escorted him to an elevator and out of the courthouse.

Review Of Busta Album "Blessed"

Im happy with this review!! LOL

The evening started off with several of my esteemed colleagues chatting about each others ventures before Busta actually entered into the room. From there, Busta took the liberty of thanking us for coming, then the evening got off to the races. With each song there was a story behind it, telling inspirational montages of how this album is rightfully titled “Blessed”. Break down of the songs after the jump.

The first song that hit the air was “Don’t Believe Em” feat. Akon & T.I. (Produced by Cool & Dre): This was one of many anthems that were heard over the course of the night. With a signature Cool & Dre banger, you hear two men express their frustrations with an overwhelming amount of legal conflicts in their lives. The song itself is a great example of how the majority of this album is a reflection of his life. We never see Busta on a “Top Ten Lyricist” list or any such accolades, yet when he consistently has kept it funky and brought good music, we, as consumers of this music, need to realize how much this person has given to us.

“We Made It” feat. Linkin Park (Produced by Cool & Dre): This is a monumental anthem where Busta states “Mike Shinoda is a REAL EMCEE”. He goes on to tell us that this song is a first because this is the first time an original song was done with a rapper and all of Linkin Park. Now for those that don’t know, the Jay-Z stuff was a mash up and we are not going to include stuff Mike has done with his group Fort Minor. After a long conversation about the severity of this collabo, he went into a campaign for new video director RAGE, stating

The next song: “Decision” feat. Common, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, & Jamie Foxx (Produced by Mr. Porter) I’m going to admit this had me “home”. After the song, I had to exclaim that I was home and proceed to take my dress shoes, Busta followed and we went our with the rest of the comments. This joint is crazy, words truly do not articulate what I feel about this production. Busta went on to tell us about Mary’s significance on the record.

In times when rappers seem to be put behind the wrong type of bars we see a very reflective Busta with the hooks being laced by Mary, John, and Jamie. At the first drop of the song the bass and piano are distinctive.

Then we went on to a few more songs I’m not going to go into details but here is a few:

“Right Now” (Produced by Focus & Dr.Dre) - This is a club banger.

“I’m Go and Get My…” (Produced by DJ Scratch) - The sample is insannnneee.. If you know the movie you will go crazy when you here it. The intro is a sample of Mike Epps funny ass lotto scene in “All About the Benjamins,” and I’m going to go out and say that its the sample of the year hands down. I promise.

Imma go and get my 45, Over on 47th. Be back in 15 minutes or even 30. Be back with 37 niggas with them 38’s.

“If” feat. Nicole from the Pussycat Dolls (Produced by Rick Rock) - Melodic Club Anthem. We argued between this one and
“G-Stro” (Produced by Pharrell). Both are very nice tracks but this one seems to win over the group.

“Blown” feat. T-Pain (Produced by Cool & Dre) - This track is by far the biggest anthem track that I’ve heard T-Pain do, and no matter how many tracks T-Pain has done this one surpasses all of them. Busta’s lyrical prowess on this entire album is far greater than what we’ve heard on a T-Pain track before.

“Throw It Up” feat. Lil’ Wayne & Ludacris (Produced by Cool & Dre) - This track was murdered by Wayne and Luda. We listened to it minus Busta’s verse since it wasn’t recorded yet, but I must say Cool & Dre did the album justice.

“Kill Dem” feat. Tosh (Produced by Pharrell) - Tosh is a newly signed Flipmode artist. Kill Dem is a throw to Jamaican Busta, shout out to Jamaica Ave.

“Let Me Show You” (Produced by Busta Rhymes & DJ Scratch) - This one is for the 30 and above crowd with a Michael Jackson sample that will have you two stepping the night away.

“Hits 4 Days” feat. J. Holiday (Produced by Dready Beats) - Fresh off the Bishop Lamont mixtape we see Dready Beats. Busta: “J. Holiday knows he is good.”

“If You Don’t Know Now You Know” feat. Big Tigger (Produced by Focus) - Okay, so a very different track but we see in Big Tigger and Bussa Bus in interview format rhyming back and forth. This track is very different yet it almost had that same back and forth type feeling as “Warning” by Biggie, except in interview format.

Overall this is going to be an album to be reckoned with, my words don’t do any justice to what the public is about to hear from Busta Rhymes. I went to church, to the club, to the bodega, back to the club, I took a time machine to the early 90’s, and then back. Sonically a very pleasing album and I must give Busta huge props for putting out some very dope production. Look out for Dready Beats, he did this track with Akon & Busta called Clear the Air…omg..The kid is fire. Matter of Fact Check it out
