Mariah Carey is said to be "nervous" about her new album - because chart rival Whitney Houston is set to release her new record at the same time. Carey has reportedly yet to complete Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.
And music insiders say she is worried that it will have to compete with the first album by Houston in years - entitled I Look To You. A source revealed: "She's getting very nervous now that Whitney Houston is coming back." Meanwhile, according to US reports, Carey, 39, signed up with new manager Chris Lighty four months ago. He told a US newspaper: "My management company is dealing with [Mariah's] music, brand extensions and commercial opportunities. We love Mariah."
